Federico Malaman, Bassist, Double Bassist, and Arranger, graduated in Classical Double Bass in 2000 from the Verona Conservatory.

He began his career collaborating with Paolo Belli's Big Band on RAI programs such as Torno Sabato, Ballando con le stelle, Sanremo Estate, Telethon, and many others. He has also toured with renowned Italian artists including Mario Biondi, Elio e le Storie Tese, Ornella Vanoni, Paolo Belli, and Antonella Ruggiero.

Thanks to his extraordinary versatility, he has established himself as a sought-after session musician and virtuoso bassist on the international jazz-fusion-progressive scene. With experience in recording studios, festivals, and TV programs, he has become a reference point for musicians and enthusiasts alike. His online popularity, due to his technique, charm, and communicative ability, has made him a popular educator and influential musician. He has also performed with other great artists, including Lucio Dalla, Zucchero, George Benson, Al Jarreau, Paolo Fresu, Marcus Miller, Billy Gibbons, Frank Gambale, Scott Kinsey, Virgil Donati, Stef Burns, Andrea Braido, Matteo Mancuso, Dirotta su Cuba, and many others. Recently, he was invited to perform as a Special Guest at the GroundUP Festival with Snarky Puppy. Additionally, he was a speaker at the prestigious 2025 TEDX event.
